Arrival at Kempegowda International Airport - Bengaluru

Welcome to Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. Our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you by air-conditioned car to your pre-booked hotel in Bengaluru. During check-in, you will receive the documents and service information for the tour, with time to clarify any queries regarding the itinerary and included services. If you arrive on an early flight and have sufficient time after settling in, take a short walk around the city, exploring nearby markets and restaurants. The remainder of the evening is free for relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel.

02 Day

Bengaluru Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Bengaluru. Begin at ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple on Hare Krishna Hill, followed by Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the city's historic horticultural landmarks. Continue to Cubbon Park, a major landscaped park in central Bengaluru, and the historic Bull Temple in Basavanagudi, known for its large monolithic Nandi carved from granite. Visit Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, a rock-cut cave temple dedicated to Shiva, followed by the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum and Vidhana Soudha. In the evening, visit Ulsoor Lake if time permits. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Bengaluru - Srirangapatna - Mysuru

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Mysuru. En route, stop at historic Srirangapatna, an island town on the Cauvery River and an important centre of the former Kingdom of Mysuru. Visit Srirangapatna Fort and the historic Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, one of the town's principal religious monuments. Continue to Mysuru and check in at the hotel. Later, visit Brindavan Gardens beside the Krishnaraja Sagara reservoir, known for its formal terraces, landscaped gardens and evening musical fountain. Depending on time and operating schedules, enjoy the fountain show before returning to Mysuru. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Mysuru Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the royal heritage of Mysuru. Begin at Mysuru Palace (Amba Vilas Palace), the present palace of the Wadiyar dynasty and a major example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. The current structure was built between 1897 and 1912 after the previous palace was destroyed by fire. Continue to St. Philomena's Cathedral, one of the city's prominent churches, followed by a drive up Chamundi Hill to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic views over Mysuru. On the return journey, stop at the monumental Nandi Bull. The evening is free for leisure or independent exploration of the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Mysuru - Ooty

(125 kms: 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Ooty (Udhagamandalam), travelling through the changing landscapes of southern Karnataka and the Nilgiri Hills. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and refresh before beginning a sightseeing tour. Visit the Government Botanical Garden, established in the 19th century and spread across approximately 55 acres, followed by Ooty Lake, an artificial lake created in 1824. Continue to Fernhill Palace, the former summer residence of the Maharaja of Mysuru, subject to access, followed by the Ooty Golf Course and Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in Tamil Nadu at 2,623 metres. If time permits, visit the scenic Pine Forest. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Ooty Sightseeing

After breakfast, continue exploring Ooty. Visit the Government Botanical Garden, whose highlights include rare and exotic plant species, a fern house, ornamental gardens and a fossilized tree estimated at around 20 million years old. Continue to Ooty Lake, where boating is available subject to operating conditions. Visit Fernhill Palace, historically associated with the Maharaja of Mysuru, followed by the Ooty Golf Course, set in the Nilgiri landscape. Later, drive to Doddabetta Peak for panoramic views across the Nilgiris and, if time permits, continue through the surrounding Pine Forest. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty

(20 kms: 1½ hrs)

After breakfast, travel to Coonoor aboard the historic Nilgiri Mountain Railway, subject to ticket availability and railway operations. The railway forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mountain Railways of India and is known for its mountain engineering, steep gradients, bridges, tunnels and scenic tea-growing landscape. On arrival, explore Sim's Park, a botanical garden developed around the natural contours of the hillside. Continue to Lamb's Rock for views across the surrounding valleys and towards the Coimbatore plains, followed by Dolphin's Nose, a prominent rock viewpoint overlooking the valleys and offering views towards Catherine Falls. If time permits, visit the Coonoor Golf Course. Return to Ooty by road and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Ooty - Kochi

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Kochi, descending from the Nilgiri Hills towards Kerala's Malabar coast. On arrival, check in at the hotel and refresh. In the evening, attend a traditional Kathakali performance, Kerala's classical dance-drama tradition known for elaborate costumes, distinctive facial makeup, expressive gestures and highly stylized storytelling. The performance offers an introduction to one of Kerala's most distinctive performing arts traditions. Overnight stay at the hotel.

09 Day

Kochi - Athirappilly - Kochi

(Excursion: approximately 70 kms each way)

After breakfast, begin with a sightseeing tour of historic Fort Kochi. Visit St. Francis Church, one of India's oldest European-built churches, and continue to the Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, a major surviving landmark of Kochi's Jewish heritage, subject to its visitor schedule. Visit Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, whose interiors contain historic murals and collections associated with the former Cochin royal family. Later, drive to Athirappilly Waterfalls in the Sholayar forest region. The 80-foot waterfall lies on the Chalakudy River and is Kerala's largest waterfall. The surrounding forest landscape is also known for its rich birdlife, including four species of hornbill. After sightseeing, return to Kochi for overnight stay.

If time permits, visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the development of tea cultivation and processing in the Munnar region, including historic machinery and photographs. Munnar - Periyar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Periyar (Thekkady), gateway to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. On arrival, check in at the resort and refresh. Later, enjoy a regulated boat cruise on Periyar Lake, offering opportunities to observe wildlife along the forested shoreline. The reserve is home to species including Asian elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boar and numerous bird species, while tiger sightings are possible but never guaranteed. After the cruise, explore a local spice plantation featuring crops such as cardamom, cinnamon, pepper and coffee. In the evening, visit the local spice market. Overnight stay at the resort.

Periyar - Alleppey

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), Kerala's renowned backwater destination. On arrival, board your private Kerala houseboat and begin cruising through the interconnected waterways of the region. The journey passes coconut-fringed canals, paddy fields, villages and waterways where traditional rural life continues alongside the backwaters. The houseboat provides a private bedroom, attached bathroom, dining and living areas, kitchen facilities and an open deck, with meals prepared onboard by the crew. Kovalam - Kanyakumari

After breakfast, check out from the beach resort and drive to Kanyakumari, located at the southern tip of mainland India. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax before exploring the waterfront. Visit the Kanyakumari Bhagavathi Amman Temple, an important coastal pilgrimage shrine dedicated to the goddess Kumari, followed by the Gandhi Mandapam. Later, take the ferry to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built in honour of Swami Vivekananda and located on an offshore rock associated with his meditation there, subject to ferry operations and sea conditions.
