After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, situated at an altitude of approximately 1,496 metres. En route visit Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, the largest artificial lake in Meghalaya. The lake stretches across a scenic setting surrounded by green hills and is one of the most prominent stops on the route to Shillong. On reaching the city, continue to Shillong Peak, situated around 10 km from Shillong at an altitude of 1,965 metres, offering views over the surrounding hills and valleys. After sightseeing, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Shillong.

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, situated at approximately 1,300 metres, and explore its surrounding landscapes of cool springs, dense green forests, mountain streams and waterfalls descending into deep gorges. During the monsoon, the clouds often lift for fleeting views across the valley. Cherrapunjee has long been associated with some of the highest rainfall records on Earth. Explore the Mawsmai and Mawmluh Caves, remarkable limestone caves known for their geological formations, natural passages and appeal to cavers and adventure enthusiasts. Other attractions include Cherrapunjee View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park. Return to Shillong for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, take a local sightseeing tour of Shillong, visiting Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake and the Cathedral. Lady Hydari Park is known for its landscaped gardens and peaceful setting, while Wards Lake is one of the city's familiar leisure spots. After sightseeing, check out from the hotel and drive to Guwahati. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, visit Kalakshetra, a cultural institution where Assamese history and culture are presented through a Light and Sound Show. The experience provides an introduction to the traditions and historical heritage of Assam through a staged presentation. Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spread over approximately 858 sq. kms across the floodplains on both sides of the Brahmaputra. The park hosts two-thirds of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceros and is divided into five ranges: Central, with entry at Kohora; Western, at Bagori; Eastern, at Agratoli; Western-most Burha Pahar, at Ghorakati; and Northern. The first four lie south of the river while the Northern Range lies on its northern bank. Kaziranga is also home to nine of the 14 primate species found across Northeast India, the purest breed of Asiatic water buffalo and one of the largest herds of Asian elephants. In the evening, visit a Tea Garden, Orchid Garden and Coffee Garden. Dinner and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Early morning at around 5 AM, proceed for an Elephant Safari, subject to availability, offering an opportunity to explore the park's grasslands and wildlife habitat during the early hours. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Afterwards proceed for a Jeep Safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga National Park, one of the principal safari areas and the park's Central Range entry point at Kohora. The safari provides an opportunity to experience the varied landscape of Kaziranga and look for its distinctive wildlife, including the Great One-horned Rhinoceros, Asian elephants and Asiatic water buffalo. Return to the hotel after the safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, transfer to the eco camp and take some time for refreshment. Later visit Bhalukpong Fort, constructed around the 10th century by King Bhaluka on the banks of the Bharali River. Today, only the ruins of the historic fort remain, but the site provides an interesting glimpse into the early history of the region and is a worthwhile stop for visitors entering Arunachal Pradesh. In the evening, the time is free for visiting the local market and exploring the surroundings at leisure. Return to the eco camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the eco camp and drive to Bomdila. En route stop at the Orchidarium at Tippi, a botanical attraction and one of the state's notable orchid centres. Around 300 species of orchids can be seen in the glass house, offering an introduction to the remarkable floral diversity of Arunachal Pradesh. The journey onwards gradually takes you deeper into the Himalayan landscape, with forested slopes and mountain scenery surrounding the road. On arrival in Bomdila, transfer to the hotel and settle in. The evening is free for relaxation after the mountain journey. Dinner and overnight stay at Bomdila.

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Bomdila, visiting the Ethnographic Museum, Lower Monastery and Upper Monastery. The Upper Monastery provides a vantage point from which to capture the wider view of Bomdila and the surrounding areas, with views towards Kangto and Gorichen Peaks, two prominent peaks of the region. The monasteries also provide an introduction to the Buddhist traditions and cultural heritage of the region. Later check out from the hotel and drive to Dirang, a mountain valley known for its Monpa cultural character and Himalayan surroundings. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Dirang, visiting the local Dirang Monpa Tribal Villages to experience the traditional way of life and architecture of the Monpa community. Continue to the Hot Water Spring, a natural thermal spring and one of the area's notable geographical features. Later check out from the hotel and drive to Tawang, continuing deeper into the high Himalayan landscape of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and settle in. After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Tawang, beginning with Tawang Monastery, more than 350 years old and one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayan region. Continue to Ani Gonpi, a monastery of nuns, before visiting the Tawang War Memorial, which honours the heroes of the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The memorial is an important reminder of the region's strategic and military history and the role played by Indian soldiers during the conflict. Later visit the Tawang Emporium, where local handicrafts and traditional products can be explored. Return to the hotel after sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay at Tawang.

After breakfast, take an excursion to Penga Teng Tso Lake, subject to clear weather conditions. The lake is surrounded by the high-altitude landscape of Tawang and the journey offers an opportunity to experience the quieter mountain scenery away from the town. After returning from the excursion, visit the birthplace of His Holiness the 6th Dalai Lama, an important site associated with the religious history of the region. Continue to the Crafts Emporium Centre, where very fine woollen carpets are produced, providing an opportunity to see and purchase traditional local craftsmanship. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the helipad to board the scheduled helicopter for Guwahati. The helicopter journey provides a different perspective of the mountainous terrain of Arunachal Pradesh before reaching the plains of Assam. On arrival at the helipad in Guwahati, assistance will be provided and you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra, an opportunity to experience the broad river and the surrounding landscape from the water.
