01 Day

Arrival in Mumbai

Welcome to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai. Our representative will receive you and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in, all tour-related documents and itinerary details will be explained. If time permits, you may explore nearby markets, cafés or enjoy an evening walk along the city's waterfront. Overnight stay at the hotel.

02 Day

Mumbai Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the highlights of Mumbai. Visit the iconic Gateway of India before taking a boat ride to the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rock-cut caves dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, showcasing art, archaeology and natural history collections, followed by a drive past the Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan. Later, visit Nariman Point, Marine Drive, Dhobi Ghat, Mani Bhavan and the ISKCON Temple. If time permits, continue to Bandra and Juhu, known for their seafront promenades and celebrity residences. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The Elephanta Caves and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya remain closed on Mondays.
03 Day

Mumbai – Nashik

(170 kms: 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Nashik, one of India's holiest cities situated on the banks of the Godavari River and an important destination of the Kumbh Mela. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel before visiting the intricately carved Sunder Narayan Temple, Kapaleshwar Temple, Balaji Temple, the revered Kalaram Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama, and Ram Kund, the sacred bathing ghat believed to be associated with the Ramayana. Overnight stay at the hotel.

04 Day

Nashik – Trimbakeshwar – Shirdi

(110 kms: 2–3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Trimbakeshwar, home to one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and regarded as the source of the Godavari River. After darshan and prayers at the renowned Trimbakeshwar Temple, continue to Shirdi. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel before visiting the revered Sai Baba Temple, one of India's most important pilgrimage centres. Spend time experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of the temple complex before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

05 Day

Shirdi – Shani Shingnapur – Aurangabad

(160 kms: 4 hrs)

Early morning, attend the sacred Kakad Aarti at the Sai Baba Temple. After breakfast, check out and drive to Shani Shingnapur, one of India's most revered shrines dedicated to Lord Shani. The village is well known for its tradition of houses without doors or locks, reflecting the strong faith of devotees in the deity's protection. After darshan and prayers, continue to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

06 Day

Ajanta Caves Excursion

(105 kms: 2 hrs one way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising 30 rock-cut Buddhist monasteries and prayer halls dating from the 2nd century BC to the 6th century AD. The caves are celebrated for their remarkably preserved murals, sculptures and ancient frescoes depicting the life and teachings of Buddha. If time permits on the return journey, you may also visit Khuldabad, known for the tomb of Emperor Aurangzeb, along with the historic Jami Masjid, Bharat Mata Temple and the remains of Chini Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The Ajanta Caves remain closed on Mondays.
07 Day

Ellora Caves Excursion

(40 kms: 1 hr one way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising 34 rock-cut monasteries and temples representing Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The highlight is the magnificent Kailasa Temple, carved from a single rock and regarded as one of the world's greatest monolithic structures. Later, visit the imposing Daulatabad Fort, a 14th-century hill fortress renowned for its ingenious defence system, followed by the nearby Chand Minar, a 63-metre victory tower built during the Bahmani Sultanate. Continue to Bibi Ka Maqbara, the 17th-century mausoleum often referred to as the "Mini Taj of the Deccan." Return to Aurangabad for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The Ellora Caves remain closed on Tuesdays.
08 Day

Aurangabad – Pune

(235 kms: 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Pune, the former seat of the Maratha Empire and an important cultural centre of Maharashtra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel before visiting the Osho International Meditation Resort, followed by the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, displaying an extensive collection of traditional Indian artefacts. Continue to the historic Aga Khan Palace, associated with Mahatma Gandhi during India's freedom movement, the Tribal Museum, showcasing the heritage of Maharashtra's indigenous communities, and the historic Shaniwar Wada, once the seat of the Peshwa rulers. If time permits, visit the Parvati Hill Temples for panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

09 Day

Pune – Murud Janjira

(185 kms: 5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Murud Janjira, a coastal destination on the Konkan coast known for its historic sea fort and sandy beaches. Upon arrival, check in at the beach resort before spending time at Murud Beach, where you may enjoy a leisurely walk or optional activities such as horse riding and horse-cart rides along the shoreline. The remainder of the evening is free to relax by the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay at the beach resort.

10 Day

Murud Janjira Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the attractions of Murud Janjira. Visit Garambi Falls, surrounded by forests and known for its seasonal cascades, followed by the historic Nawab Palace (Ahmedganj Palace), the former residence of the Nawabs of Janjira. Continue to Kasa Fort (Padmadurg Fort), built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on an island off the coast, and the iconic Janjira Fort, a 16th-century island fortress renowned for remaining unconquered despite numerous invasions. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

11 Day

Murud Janjira – Mumbai

(160 kms: 3–4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Mumbai. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for shopping and leisure. You may explore popular shopping districts including Colaba Causeway, Fashion Street, Linking Road, Crawford Market or one of Mumbai's modern shopping malls. Overnight stay at the hotel.

12 Day

Mumbai – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai for your onward journey. Your tour concludes with wonderful memories of Maharashtra's heritage monuments, sacred pilgrimage centres and scenic Konkan coastline.

The final cost of a customized tour varies depending on accommodation choices, travel period, number of travellers and individual preferences. While an exact quotation can be provided upon finalization of details, the following indicative price range will help you plan your holiday (based on a minimum of two persons sharing a double room together).
