01 Day: Arrival Delhi

Welcome and assistance on arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and transfer to the pre-booked hotel by aircon car. After check in, travel document related to the tour plan and services will be handed over to you; our representative will explain all your queries about the entire tour plan. Later in the evening visit to see Light and Sound Show at Red fort. The show exhibits wonderful history of the city in a very interesting way. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Light and Sound Show: A spectacular show at the Red Fort. Which makes the 5,000 years old history of the city come alive. Amidst the harmony of the splendidly panoramic and historic environs of the Red Fort, select episodes from the annals of Delhi's historic and majestic past are vibrantly brought to life. Special effects combine with the exceptional character to make this show an impressively memorable experience.

02 Day: Delhi

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi: the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in India, Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. The sightseeing continues to explore New Delhi including President House, India gate; built to honour and pay a tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple), Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, Qutub Minar; built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty. Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir, generally known as the ISKCON Delhi temple. In the evening you can opt for a cycle rickshaw ride through the lively and colourful market of Chandani Chowk. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi, the towering capital city of the independent and largest democratic country in the world: India. Delhi is located and sprawled on both banks of Yamuna River. The city is enriched with culture, architecture and human diversity, Delhi city is a blend of the ancient past of India with the vibration of the modern world. The city designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the Pandavas of epic Mahabharata, the august heroes, founded Delhi around 1200 BC & the name of the city was Indraprastha.

03 Day: Delhi – Corbett (240 kms: 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Corbett. This is the most popular destination, because of its superb location and sheer abundance of flora fauna. This unique tiger territory is best known as the father who gave birth of the Project Tiger in India to protect the most endangered species and the Royal of India called Tigers.  On arrival, transfer to the jungle resort. Rest of the evening is free for leisure, if time permits; you can take jungle safari or walk through the forest. Dinner and overnight at the jungle resort.

Corbett National Park: Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Leopards. India's first national park and the first sanctuary to come under Project Tiger, Corbett supports a variety of vegetation making it the ideal habitat for the Tiger and its prey. Once a popular hunting ground of the British, this 201 square mile park was named in honor of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who most of his years in this area and contributed in setting up the this park.

04 Day: Corbett

Early morning you go for Jeep Safari at Jhirna Park. The Jhirna jeep safari zone is one of the most eye-catching spots inside the Jim Corbett National Park, the Jhirna jeep safari region is an exciting zone which gives tourists some of the fascinating views of nature and wildlife. Afterwards return to the hotel for breakfast. After rest and relaxation go for jeep safari to the Bijrani area of Corbett to find the Elusive Tiger - now the cynosure of the questing eye. While your jeep passes through the deep jungle there is a strong probability to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger roaming around. Keep your cameras at the ready and capture the rare images of tigers and various other wildlife species while they are resting in their habitats. The Corbett Park with its varied topography, diverse Flora & Fauna, the beauty of the rivulets, the natural splendor of its landscapes. Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

05 Day: Corbett – Agra (310 kms: 8 hrs)

Early morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of your day is free for relaxation. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.

Agra is famous asbeing home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. Built by the great Mughal emperor Shahjahan, an eternal love story written on the shimmering marble for his wife Mumtaz. Agra is pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by craftsmen who are descendant of those who worked under the Mughals. The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.

06 Day: Agra

Early morning visit world’s most popular and beautiful monument: Taj Mahal with its’ fabulous view at the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal, a beautiful architectural monument is one of the 7 wonders of the world. The tour continues with a visit to Agra Fort. The fort was built in 1576 AD by great Mughal Emperor Akbar, structured and designed with red stoned barricaded; here you will find the splendid Pearl Mosque and various other classic example of art: Jahangir Mahal, Moti Masjid, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Diwan-i-Khas, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Am, and Meena Bazaar and Musamman Bhurj. Afterwards visit Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula, 35 kms from Agra, built by Empress Noor Jahan daughter of Shahjahan, this monument a tribute to her great father. In the evening one should visit Oswal Emporium to watch  the replica of Taj Mahal it took 10 years for the artists to build this artistic epitome, also enjoy light and sound show “Mohabbat-the-Taj: the saga of love”, the only show of its kind in India! Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday.

07 Day: Agra – Gwalior – Orchha (255 kms: 6 hrs)

After leisure and breakafast check out the hotel and drive to Orchha, enroute visit Gwalior. Take a sightseeing of the majestic Gwalior fort is one of the largest and mightiest forts in India. Also visit Sas-Bahu Temples are 11th-century temples of Lord Vishnu while Teli-ka-Mandir is a 300-metre-high Vishnu temple of the 9th Century, visiting Jai Vilas Palace, Usha Kiran Palace, Gwalior fort, Man Mandir, Gujri Mahal and the tomb of Mohammad Ghaus. After visit proceed to Orchha. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Orcha: The medieval city of Orchha, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, seems to have frozen in time, its palaces and temples still retaining their original grandeur. Orchha had the distribution of being the capital of one of the largest and most powerful kingdoms of Central India. The Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, founded the city, located by the side of the beautiful Betwa River, in the 16th century. The word Orchha means 'hidden'.

08 Day: Orchha – Khajuraho (175 kms: 5 hrs)

Today morning take a city tour of Orchha visiting various temple and Palaces such as Raja Ram temple, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Shiva Mandir, Panch Mukhi Mahadev Mandir and other cenotaphs “Chhatris" on the bank of river Betwa and also visit Fort Palace of Raj Mahal, Jahangir Mahal, Diwan – e - Khas and Rai Praveen Mahal. After visit drive to Khajuraho. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Khajuraho: The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India's unique gift of love to the world, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. It derives its name from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree) which can be found in abundance in the area. The divine sculptures in these temples are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. With the wane of the Chandela Empire, these magnificent temples lay neglected, and vulnerable to the ravages of Nature.

09 Day: Khajuraho

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour visiting Western group of Temples consisting of the massive Laxman Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varaha temples dedicated to Vishnu’s consort Laxman, the Kandariya Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Later take a sightseeing tour of Eastern group of Temples which consists of 3 Hindu and 3 Jain temples, their proximity attests to the religious tolerance of the times in general and of the Chandela rulers in particular, visit the Jain temples of Parsvanath, Adinath, and Shanti Nath. Also visit the temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu. Afterwards return to the hotel for overnight stay.

10 Day: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (225 kms: 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. This Park is spread over an area of 437 sq. km. The terrain is made of rocky hills, sal forests and grazing areas, formerly agricultural land. On arrival, transfer to the jungle lodge/resort. Evening will be free for jungle and photographic activities. Dinner and overnight will stay at jungle lodge.

Bandhavgarh National Park: Set amongst The Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh consists of 168 sq miles of Sal & a mixed forest with large stretches of Bamboo and Grassland to The North. One is genera lly lucky to view The Tiger, Gaur (Indian Bison) Chital, Chansingha ( Four horned antelope). This Park houses some 150 species of birds including the Blue Bearded bee eaters, White Browed Fantails, and The Mal abar Hornbill.

11 Day: Bandhavgarh

Early morning take a jungle safari. After safari return to the resort/lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, trek to Bandhavgarh Fort situated at the highest point of Bandhavgarh hills and believed to be around 2,000 years old. Also study the water management system here. See the archaeological find of over 1000 years and study the unique topography of the Park from a birds-eye view, visit to the rural schools at Bandhavgarh. Evening recap of the day’s activity, walk through Medicinal Plant garden, study conservation practices such as solar cooking, solar water heating, vermiculture, and study the unique architecture of the Lodge, which is mud huts, and a unique Indian Village. Optionally you can also visit Bandhavgarh Ancient Caves and Tala Village, which is one of the most beautiful attractions of Bandhavgarh, and is the lowest point of the wildlife reserve. Afterwards return to the jungle lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

12 Day: Bandhavgarh – Kanha (240 kms: 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Kanha on arrival transfer to the resort, the history of Kanha as a hunting ground dates back to the British era when the officials used to hunt the famous twelve-horned antelope or hard ground Barasingha or Swamp Deer. Evening free for explore nature around the resort & local area, evening walk. Afterwards return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

The Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh came into being in 1955 and forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 under Project Tiger. The Park's landmark achievement is the preservation of the rare hard ground Swamp Deer (Barasingha), saving it from near extinction. Stringent conservation programs for the overall protection of the Park's fauna and flora, makes Kanha one of the most well maintained National Parks in Asia.

13 Day: Kanha National Park

After breakfast take, safari at Kanha zone, etc. Enjoy Jeep safari in Jungle, A must see for all nature enthusiasts, Kanha gives you a perfect opportunity to escape the mundane city hustle bustle and get lost in the wooded charm of the dense forest. Afterwards take Jungle walks in designated nature trails is a very good option to explore and understand about Kanha national park and its bio-diversity. Guides are available at the entry gate after payment of normal guide charges and they take you on the trail. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Note: Optionally can visit the Kanha Museum. This is a place from where detailed information about the topography of the park and its various aspects can be obtained. Also visit the spot named Bamni Dadar, popularly known as the Sunset Point and the famous Kawardha Palace, which is a drive of around 3 hours.

14 Day: Kanha – Pench (250 kms: 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out the resort and drive to Pench, on arrival transfer to the resort, after refreshment enjoy Jeep safari to at Touria zone and Jamthara zone. The main vegetation of the park is the Kullu and Teak trees and a wide variety of deciduous trees some of which are rare and endangered as well. Enjoy dinner & overnight stay at resort.

Pench National Park is situated in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. It derives its name from the Pench River that flows through the national park from north to south dividing the park into almost equal western and eastern halves, the well forested areas of Seoni and Chhindwara districts respectively. The forest cover in the park area includes Teak mixed with other magnificent species like saja, bijiayasal, lendia, haldu, dhaora, salai, aonla, amaltas. There are 10 villages in the national park, one inside the park (Fulzari) and nine on the periphery.

15 Day: Pench

After breakfast, take safari at Touria zone enjoy Bird Watching and Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing, the Tigers of Pench are the main attraction and have a reserved territory for the habitation and preservation of these endangered species. Afterwards return to the resort. Enjoy dinner & overnight stay at resort.

16 Day: Pench – Nagpur (80 kms: 2 hrs) – Delhi (By Air)

After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Nagpur airport to board schedule flight for Delhi, on arrival take connecting flight for home town/onwards journey. On departure tour conclude with the happy memories.

 

Tour Package Guidelines:

Since the precise cost of a customized tour is subject to specific accommodation choices, travel period (date/month/year), nos of pax travelling together and other custom preferences. However, to enable you to chalk out your holiday plan, we suggest following budget guidelines (minimum 2 people are travelling together & sharing one double room) for a customized tour:

  1. 3-Star: $125 - $150 per person per day
  2. 4-Star: $155 - $190 per person per day
  3. 5-Star: $195 - $250 + per person per day.

The Package Inclusive of:

  1. Hotel accommodation on twin sharing with buffet breakfast.
  2. Hotel accommodation with all meals at Corbett, Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench.
  3. Aircon car with English speaking driver throughout the tour for all transfers, sightseeing, intercity travel.
  4. Car services are inclusive of all services; right from pick up from the airport till departure.

The Package Excludes:

  1. Any international/domestic air/train fare.
  2. Monuments/sightseeing entry charges.
  3. Government tax 5% on the tour package.
  4. Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, tips, phone calls, insurance, portage, soft/hard drinks, meals unless not specified etc.
  5. Anything which is not mentioned in the 'Inclusions' shall not be the part of this package.

Please Note:

  1. All the jungle safaris are by exclusive jeep only for your clients along with our resident naturalist. (Inclusive Jeep Entry fee, forest guide fess and jeep tour).  To ensure that you have the zone of your choice, passport details of the client, passport number, age/date of birth, country and city of residence must be received at least 60 -90 days ahead of time to ensure a confirmed safari booking.
  2. If there is any increase in the Park entrance fee, fuel prices or any change in government policy resulting in an increase of our cost, the same will be charged.
  3. Wednesday afternoons Parks are closed. (in lieu of this walks to the village, village school, nature walks, birding, bicycle  trips, cookery classes etc)Any specific requirement, special interest tour, conferences, seminar, shopping, national events, fair and festivals, meeting with local people, safaris, excursion, and meal plan, accommodation etc., can be arranged accordingly at additional cost, if any.
  4. As the above is a customized package of a private tour, we can modify the tour and services as per your requirement.
  5. Any specific requirement, special interest tour, conferences, seminar, shopping, national events, fair and festivals, meeting with local people, safaris, excursion, and meal plan, accommodation etc., can be arranged accordingly at additional cost, if any.
  6. During the National Ceremonies, Major Sports Events, New Year, Christmas, Fair and Festivals the package cost will be worked out accordingly.
